Andromeda is a large independent Tuscan cottage on the edge of the hamlet Casalta. From the cottage there are fantastic views of the vineyards that surround the hamlet. The main entrance is on the first floor. Inside there is a large hall with a high ceiling of terracotta tiles and wooden beams. Off the hall are the bedrooms. To the left beautiful stone stairs lead down to the living area. Downstairs is a large open plan room. To one side is the lounge which has two armchairs and a triple sofa. In one corner is a decorative fireplace. In the centre of the room is a large wooden table with six chairs. The entire area is paved with terracotta and has a beautiful vaulted terracotta ceiling. A double glass door provides access to the garden and covered furnished terrace which has views of the Chianti hills. Off the dining area is a bathroom with shower. In the centre of the room is a big terracotta arch which divides the dining and lounge areas from the kitchen. This is a large fully equipped room which includes gas hobs, a small fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave with grill. There is also a traditional Tuscan stone sink. In the centre of the kitchen is a wood table providing plenty of work space. On the first floor is a twin room with beautiful iron beds which can be put together to make a double.

A large, floor length, arched window makes the room bright, while character is provided by the stone wall around the window. From here there are views of the rolling Tuscan hills covered in vineyards and forests. A double, wooden wardrobe completes the furnishings of this room. To the other side of the entrance hall is a small hall which provides access to a bathroom with shower and the double bedroom. Two arched windows provide plenty of light and incredible views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The double bed is made of iron and has a detailed iron lace headboard. In one corner is a large double wardrobe, while a chest of drawers is against another wall. When booking please indicate whether you require the second bedroom as a twin or double.
